Best known as Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds’ guitarist, George Vjestica has appeared on the band’s last four albums; ‘Push the Sky Away’, ‘Skeleton Tree’, ‘Ghosteen’ and ‘Wild God’.
As a composer his most recent work has been for Lynne Ramsay’s, ‘Die My Love’ starring Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson. Other film and TV work includes the HBO documentary, ‘The Sky Above Zenica’, the BBC/Amazon series, ‘Pursuit of Love’ and ‘Who the F… is Roget Rossmeisl?’ an indie doc about the enigmatic Rickenbacker guitar luthier.
Vjestica also features on Nick Cave & Warren Ellis’s soundtracks to the films, ‘The Proposition’ and ‘Lawless’.
He has recorded albums with John Squire (The Stone Roses), Barry Adamson, Groove Armada, KT Tunstall and his own musical projects Andromedæ and Bandante, shared a stage with The Pogues and graced the catwalk for fashion’s ‘enfant terrible’, the late, great Alexander McQueen.
2026 sees Vjestica back on the road with Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds touring Australia and headlining major festivals throughout Europe.
